The 2nd International eHealth Symposium in Hohenheim is themed “Process of change in organisations through eHealth”. Starting with the inaugural event 2009, which took place in Turku, Finland, we want to implement a tradition of international eHealth symposia. Topic of this international symposium focuses in addition to research questions also practical applications in the eHealth domain. The international exchange of expert and practical knowledge provides an essential element in the improvement of health care through the application of ICT. The focus of the 2nd International eHealth Symposium lies on the main topics innovation, people, organisation and technology. The primary issues reach from the innovation strategy over the consideration of human aspects, the integration in organisational structures to the technical application in the regulated course of treatment. Scientists, developers, manufacturer, service provider and users are invited for an intensive exchange of views, information and knowledge.
